Flat Beds
Dutch Mill Trucking employs a team of flat bed drivers that haul anything from steel coils to asphalt shingles to ice melt across the Midwest. Many loads originate from Minneapolis or Chicago. All drivers are scheduled to be home every night. In the rare circumstances a driver is unable to make it back to the yard, all trucks have a sleeper cab.

All of our flatbed trucks are equipped with ELDs (Electronic Logging Devices). Remote I-PASS and Pre Pass transponders are also installed in every truck. Drivers are paid an additional flat rate for every load that needs to be tarped.
Refrigerated Vans
In 2014, Dutch Mill Trucking expanded its services to include refrigerated units. DMT has a fleet of reefers that run from Wisconsin to the the mountain states weekly. These single driver trips are great for the trucker that is looking for miles in the wide open country.

Dutch Mill pays a industry premium per mile rate for the refrigerated units. Many drivers prefer to go on these routes weekly, but DMT has a program for drivers looking for part time and/or local routes. New 579 Peterbilt tractors are added to the fleet annually.

Owner Operators
Dutch Mill Trucking, Inc. also employs owner operators. Truck owners looking for more flexibility or less hassle scheduling loads are encouraged to apply. Drivers can focus more on just driving, while DMT handles the logistics. The company is accepting full time owner operators.
Who We Are
Dutch Mill Trucking, Inc.
Dutch Mill Trucking, Inc. was founded by Neil and Betty Jacobs in 1971. DMT started out hauling milk locally from the farm to the dairy. DMT expanded its services in 1982 to include flatbeds. In 1989, Dutch Mill was purchased by Harland Morehart. During his 11 years owning the company, the main business industry was moved to flat bed trucking. It was purchased by current owner Tim Jacobs (son) in 2000 and brought back into the Jacobs' family again. Tim expanded the regional flatbeds to the greater Midwest area throughout the 2000's. The company then added a fleet of refrigerated trailers in 2014, expanding its services across the country.
